How to Crush a Monster

Stop covering your head when someone yells at you in anger.

Stop thinking you have to hit the person who is threatening you. It’s fine for a two-year-old. Little bitty kids don’t have a grasp on the difference between words and reality. 

Monsters come in many forms. Anything that invokes fear and anxiety is a monster. 

Communicate your fear or uncertainty to the very next pair of ears. If one person does not listen, find another one. Just keep communicating. Persistence and sharing are key tools to keep in mind for crushing a monster. Don’t stay in the dark.
